Being a seminarian is both rewarding and challenging. Seminary is a time and place where you have the opportunity to examine your faith and grow in your relationship with God and with God’s people. Seminary is also challenging. Some of you have moved away from family, from jobs and careers and from congregations that have supported you. Some of you have spouses and children and are balancing time and checkbooks with one spouse as a full time student while facing these challenges away from the networks of support you had before moving to Richmond to attend seminary. Three Chopt Presbyterian Church seeks to support you as you reap the rewards and face the challenges of seminary and of preparing for leadership in Christ’s church. We seek to support seminary students and their families, whether you have long ties to the Richmond area or moved here to attend seminary.
